The War of 1812 was a conflict during the Napoleonic Era between the United States of America and the UK, including Canada and a confederation of Midwestern tribes led by Tecumseh. The war ended in an effective stalemate, the only real change being the weakening of Native American tribes against the ever-expanding US. The only true victory for the US in this war was the Battle of New Orleans, their forces led by Andrew Jackson shortly after the end of the war.
